The article is dedicated to the memory of A.K. Bulkhin

Abstract. The results of experimental studies of transmission parameters and mutual influence of a telephone cable with TPppPng(A)-HF 100×2×0.5 skin-foam-skin polyethylene insulation in the frequency range up to 16 MHz are presented. It is shown that the low-frequency characteristics of the skin-foam-skin insulated cable fully comply with the category 5e LAN cable standards, and the characteristics of mutual interference at the near and far ends are by 10–15 dB higher than the standard values for a Category 3 LAN cable. Recommendations for the cable use are given.

Key words: telephone cable, skin-foam-skin insulation, transmission parameters, characteristics of mutual interference

THE VALUE OF SENSE IS IN INNOVATION AT THE STAGE OF PARADIGM SHIFT

E.N. Kadyshev, Dr. Sc. (Economics), Pro-Rector for Research, I.N. Ylyanov Chuvash State University;

I.M. Kortunov, Cand. Sc. (Economics), Deputy Director for Strategic Development, Chuvashkabel plant

Abstract. The article examines the essence of innovation as a social phenomenon from the viewpoint of its meaning and content as an engineering paradigm which is based on the reflection of various external environment aspects on the conscious activity of the society. The value of the innovation sense is revealed and shown with regard to the value for the customer. A model of meanings and values interrelation is formed, and the evolution of approaches to the innovation models is shown. The article systematizes the challenges and prerequisites for the formation of future innovations, and outlines their logical interrelation. Considerations about the consequences of digitalization are also presented.

Key words: innovation process, conformation, digitalization, commodity economics, utility economics, digital platform, digital flow, subconscious influence
